Here at The Curtain Maker, our goal has from the beginning has been to provide high-quality, bespoke curtains and window furnishings made locally, ensuring a truly hands on service and custom product. We believe that stylish, well-fitting window furnishings finish a home, and have worked hard to source the best quality and most resilient materials so you can love your curtains for years to come. The entirety of our process is handled in-house, from measure and manufacture, through to install, with every pleat on your curtain calculated down to the millimetre to ensure the best possible finished product. Our expertise extends to our beautiful range of Turkish linens, as well as velvets, sheer fabrics, patterns and beyond. If you have a vision for your space, it would be our pleasure to help bring it to life. 

 

At its core, Orange is a unique community that thrives off of a network of small businesses, and we are proud to work alongside, and have the support of the finest designers, architects and craftspeople our region has to offer, in both residential and commercial projects. 

 

 

 

The Curtain Maker was established in 2020, when owner, Priscilla, saw a need for a producer of luxurious window furnishings in the Orange region. She began custom-making curtains from her home, recruiting husband, Laurie, to take on the installations. 

 

As the business grew, the need for more space grew with it, and the move to our studio was made in 2021, to 187 Lords Place. While Priscilla and Laurie are still at the heart of the operation, we have expanded to a team of fabric and sewing specialists and installers, working to provide the same individualised service and exceptional quality.
